The Enoch Mgijijma Local Municipality partnered with Chris Hani District Municipality and the Southern African Institute For Artisans(SAIFA) to launch a Work Integrated Programme for unemployed youth.
SAIFA is a non-profit organization focusing on skills development and the facilitating agent of Work Integrated Learning in line with the Skills Development Act.
Today, the Executive Mayor of Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality welcomed participants of the Work Integrated Learning. 100 participants will be placed in learnership and internship programmes for a duration of two years commencing today and on the 1st of July 2024 in Chris Hani District Municipality and Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality.The programe is funded through the National Skills Fund.
