TOKEN IDENTIFIER

All pre-paid meter customers will undergo Token Identifier (TID) changeover to align to new technologies. This is a necessary and compulsory changeover which must be done between now and 24 November 2024. The change is mainly necessitated by the expiry of the current Standard Transfer Specification (SPS) technology whose meters will stop dispensing electricity in November.

Alle voorafbetaalde meterkliënte sal Token Identifier (TID) oorskakeling ondergaan om by nuwe tegnologieë aan te pas. Dit is 'n noodsaaklike en verpligte omskakeling wat tussen nou en 24 November 2024 gedoen moet word. Die verandering word hoofsaaklik genoodsaak deur die verstryking van die huidige Standaard Oordragspesifikasie (SPS)-tegnologie waarvan die meters in November sal ophou om elektrisiteit te verskaf.
